Pinnaroo Valley Chapel
Pinnaroo Valley Chapel

The works were split into two stages, the first being the construction and realignment of new roads and drainage and the completion of the feature limestone embankment. The second stage involved the construction of the new building and the completion of the new roads and paving. The building itself includes a new chapel, a foyer, a post-service lounge, and internal suspended deck plant room, public toilet facilities and staff amenities. Internally throughout the project is high-end stonework to walls and floors, marble mirror surrounds and vanities, decorative limestone columns and arches, feature timber work and metalwork, coloured render walls, exposed steel beams and soaring acoustic ceilings.

Challenges during construction included the adjoining chapel being fully operational throughout construction; which meant there was a major emphasis on noise and traffic management, avoiding impact on the natural environment and providing a safe environment for the hundreds of daily visitors.
